| Double-bladed lightsaber—also called a Saberstaff, Lightsaber Lance, Doublesaber, or Lightstaff, had a longer-hilt version of the standard lightsaber, and could emit a blade from both ends. This is the most common of the rarer forms of lightsabers. Each blade could be activated independently of one another or simultaneously.
